Orlando Khota

Do-It-Yourself is the creed by which QVC's resident DIY expert Orlando Khota seems to live. He has already renovated his five-bedroom Victorian house, established a successful carpentry business and even laid a wooden floor for celebrity-chef friend Ainsley Harriot! Aside from his DIY credentials, Orlando has enjoyed a successful modelling career. He's been in many TV and magazine adverts, including Coca Cola, Snickers and Sensodyne toothpaste - where he had to be filmed in a shower wearing nothing but a flesh-coloured G-string! His wife Jennie also moves in celebrity circles - she's a hairdresser to the stars. She even did the dazzling dos for Posh and Beck's wedding!

My wife's chicken and mushroom risotto.

Recently, Lucky Number Sleven; for comedy, Young Frankenstein; and for action, it has to be Scarface - it's a classic

Do you have any children?

I have a little boy and a little girl.

Do you have any pets?

Yes, two Staffordshire Bull Terriers.

What do you enjoy doing?

The gym when I've got time and, after a hard day, I find gardening's a good way to relax.

What's the first record you ever bought?

Adam and the Ants - Kings of the Wild Frontier.

What's your idea of a perfect weekend?

On Friday night I'd have drinks out with the lads, on Saturday I'd spend the day doing something fun with my wife and son, then on Sunday it would be nice to spend a little time in the garden.

What's the scariest thing you've ever done?

I did a bungee jump over the Thames - that was scary but fun.

What's been your silliest moment at QVC?

Any time I'm put with Julian Ballantyne! Viewers might notice that me and Julian get split up because things always get pretty silly.

What 3 things would you take with you to a desert island?

My Gerber multitool, a tent and a sleeping bag - I'd be alright then I think.
